Upgrade the tender springs on your 2024+ XP 1000 4 Seater.

The All Thingz UTV 2024+ Polaris RZR XP 1000 4 Seater tender spring kit for Walker Evans shocks targets trail comfort for the redesigned 4 Seater machine equipped with Walker Evans shocks. The kit replaces the tender springs while keeping your existing main springs and shock assemblies. Choose all four tender springs, just the front pair, or just the rear pair to match the work you are doing. All Thingz UTV manufactures the springs in this kit.

What this kit offers

  • Trail comfort: A spring upgrade intended to reduce harshness over uneven ground.
  • Retain your main springs: This is a tender-spring replacement, not a complete shock or upper-and-lower spring package.
  • Setup reference: Use model-specific setup instructions; tire size and vehicle load affect the final setup.

Tender springs or a dual-rate kit?

This kit retains your main springs. For an upper-and-lower spring replacement, compare the 2024+ XP 1000 4 Seater dual-rate spring kit with universal shock fitment. Review that kit's selected option and contents before ordering.

What the tender spring does

The tender spring works with the main spring in the shock assembly. While both are free to compress, their combined spring rate is lower than either spring alone. This lets the spring stack respond differently through its travel. A tender spring that remains fully compressed at normal loaded ride height has little compression travel left to contribute; however, spring contact by itself is not proof of a defect. Evaluate ride height, load and the intended shock setup together.

This tender upgrade retains the main springs. A full dual-rate replacement changes both upper and lower springs. Neither package changes the shock absorber’s internal damping.

Installation overview and setup

Use the Polaris service procedure for your exact model year and installed shock package, together with the instructions for this All Thingz UTV spring kit. Safely support the vehicle and release spring tension with appropriate equipment before removing spring retainers. Use your model's fastener torque specifications during reassembly.

Polaris's suspension diagrams identify where factory preload measurements are taken. Those shock measurements are separate from ground clearance. Factory spring preload dimensions must not be copied directly onto a different spring kit.

Measurement reference: Ground to the underside of the skid plate, with the vehicle on level ground and the suspension settled after moving the vehicle forward and backward. Use consistent reference points when comparing measurements. These starting references do not guarantee a finished height; tire dimensions, pressure, passengers, accessories, and suspension setup affect the result. Listed tire sizes do not confirm tire fitment.
