Smoother trails. A better-supported ride.

The All Thingz UTV tender spring kit for the 2024+ Polaris RZR XP 1000 2 Seater with Walker Evans shocks is designed to improve ride comfort and support your machine at its recommended ride height. All Thingz UTV manufactures the springs in this kit.

This kit replaces the tender springs on your existing shock assemblies. Choose all four tender springs, the front pair, or the rear pair to suit the work you are doing.

What this upgrade does for your ride

  • Take the harshness out of uneven trails: The kit is designed to reduce harsh impacts and make rough terrain more comfortable for you and your passenger.
  • Dial in your ride height: Follow the model-specific setup guidance below after installation. Accessories, added weight, and suspension setup affect the result.
  • Upgrade the tender springs on your existing shocks: This is a spring kit for the listed Walker Evans application; replacement shock assemblies are not included.

Tender springs or a dual-rate spring kit?

Choose this tender spring kit when you want to replace the tender springs while retaining your existing main springs and shock assemblies.

Compare the matching dual-rate kit when you want to replace the upper and lower springs. The full 2024+ RZR XP 1000 2 Seater dual-rate spring kit includes four front springs and four rear springs. That listing also offers a lowers-only option, so check your selection before ordering.

What the tender spring does

The tender spring works with the main spring in the shock assembly. While both are free to compress, their combined spring rate is lower than either spring alone. This lets the spring stack respond differently through its travel. A tender spring that remains fully compressed at normal loaded ride height has little compression travel left to contribute; however, spring contact by itself is not proof of a defect. Evaluate ride height, load and the intended shock setup together.

This tender upgrade retains the main springs. A full dual-rate replacement changes both upper and lower springs. Neither package changes the shock absorber’s internal damping.

Installation overview and setup

Use the Polaris service procedure for your exact model year and installed shock package, together with the instructions for this All Thingz UTV spring kit. Safely support the vehicle and release spring tension with appropriate equipment before removing spring retainers. Use your model's fastener torque specifications during reassembly.

Polaris's suspension diagrams identify where factory preload measurements are taken. Those shock measurements are separate from ground clearance. Factory spring preload dimensions must not be copied directly onto a different spring kit.

Measurement reference: Ground to the underside of the skid plate, with the vehicle on level ground and the suspension settled after moving the vehicle forward and backward. Use consistent reference points when comparing measurements. These starting references do not guarantee a finished height; tire dimensions, pressure, passengers, accessories, and suspension setup affect the result. Listed tire sizes do not confirm tire fitment.
